Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences Basic Nursing Admission Registration Requirements
Interested Candidates must meet the following requirements before then can apply for admission into the Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Science.
- Candidates must poses at least credits in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics in not more than two sittings in WASSCE, GCE, NECO OR NABTEB.
- Candadates must provide original and two photocopies of any of the follow certificates: FLSC, WASSCE, GCE, NECO OR NABTEB
- Candidates should present three recent colour passport photographs.
- provide a copy of your birth certificate or change of name as the case may be.
- certificate of local government of origin is required
- Interested candidates must be 16 years and above.
Note that NABTEB result stands alone and cannot be combined with any other exam certificate.

Interested applicants should visit the college’s main campus, Ikot Ekpene (former School of Nursing, Ikot Ekpene) with all their credentials as outlined above to process their registration.

Registration fee
- Indigenes are to pay N5,000
- Non-indigenes are to pay N7,000
Processing fee
- Indigenes are to pay N8,000
- Non-indigenes are to pay N10,000
- Nursing and Midwifery Committee N500
- Customized file N500
Total payment for INDIGENES is N14,000
Total payment for NON INDIGENES is N18,000
Registration Date and Closing Date and Exam Date
Registration for Basic Nursing Programme of the Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences commences from 2nd October 2023 and ends on 20th October 2023.
All candidates should be informed about the Date of entrance examination which is Saturday 28th October, 2023
