The school is now accepting suitably qualified candidates for admission into the department of nursing sciences. About the Nursing Programme
The school is inviting candidates to apply for admission into the department of nursing sciences (Post Registration) Nursing Programme which will kick off in March 2024. The programme will last for Eighteen (18) months. Candidates who graduate from this programme are entitled to and award of a Registered Nurse Certificate (RN).
UBTH College of Nursing Sciences Admission Application Requirements
The below listed requirements must be made before you proceed with your application into the College of Nursing Sciences, University of Benin Teaching Hospital.
- All interested candidates must not be less than 18 years of age.
- Interested candidates must possess five (5) credit passes in not more than two sittings in WASCE, GCE or NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
- Candidates must have obtained a Registered Midwifery (RM) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse Certificate (RPN)

- An application form is required and should carry your age, state of origin, local government area, school(s) attended presenting all qualifications obtained and finally addressed to the Head of Department.

- Candiates are required to upload the receipt of a non-refundable fee of ten thousand Naira (N10,000) only. which should be paid to UBTH TREASURY SINGLE ACCOUNT (TSA) VIA THE REMITA PLATFORM IN ANY COMMERCIAL BANK UNDER THE SERVICE TYPE “TRAINING SCHOOL-DEPARTMENT OF NURSING, COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES.
Candidates should note that a separate payment of Five Hundred Naira N500 would be made to the Nursing and Midwifery Council Committee Edo State’s account provided below.
