College of Nursing Sciences, National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu Admission Requirements for General Nursing and Basic Midwifery Program

All interested candidates are expected to meet the following listed requirements before they proceed with the CONSNOHE Admission Form application into their various programs.

1. Interested candidates must not be below 16 years of age. Applicants are expected to have in possession a Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent (SSCE. NECO, NABTEB, GCE). Moving forward, they must have had a minimum of five (5) credits in Mathematics, Chemistry, English, Biology and Physics in not more than two sittings. A birth certificate or age declaration is also required (NOTE: Not Baptism Card)
2. A testimonial from the last school the candidate attended is required.
3. A marriage certificate is required for those that are married.
4. Candidates must present original and photocopies of all relevant documents during the interview.
5. Three (3) recent passport photographs is required.
6. A valid means of identification is required. (accepted IDs are NIN, PVC, Drivers License and International Passport).

College of Nursing Sciences, National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu Admission Requirements For Post Basic Programs

Applicants for the post basic program are required to submit their basic nursing certificates or licenses together with the above requirements.

CONSNOHE Admission Form Application Procedure and Payment

1. Registration or sales of form begins from the 2nd of October, 2023.
2. Interested candidates can obtain the registration form at the College of Nursing Complex, NOH, Enugu.
3. The cost for the admission form/examination fee is N16,500.00.  This fee should be paid into the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu TSA account via Remita webisite.
4. Applicants can generate RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) number at the office of the College Bursar, or online via www.remitta.net.

How to Generate RRR Number for Payment

The following procedure will help you in case you want to pay for your forms online instead. Note that online payment can only be processed on remita.

• Click on Pay TSA & State on arriving the homepage
• 
• A pop up model will be displayed click on FGN: FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA
• 
• On arriving the page, type in National Orthopedic Hospital, ENUGU where you have “who do you want to pay” as shown in the screenshot below. Input POS Collection where you have “Name of service/purpose” In the description, input College of Nursing Science Form.
• 
• Provide additional details such as amount to pay, your full name, phone number and email address and click on SUBMIT when done.
• The next screen will display a payment form. You can continue payment online with your debit card or print invoice and take it to any bank branch to process payment.
• Once payment is complete, visit the school with and evidence of payment and get the application form from the registrar. Opening hours is Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm.

3. The subjects included for the entrance examination are Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Exaination/Interview Date and Venue

Interview Date is 1st – 7th Nov., 2023. Time: 9.00am daily

Candidates are requested to go along with an original payment receipt and all relevant documents. Additionally, candidates for Post Basic Nursing should come along with their practicing Licenses.

Only candidates who meet the entry requirements and pass the Entrance Examination will be eligible for interview examination.
