Admission Requirements for Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences (AKSCONS)

To be eligible for admission into the ND/HND Nursing Sciences programme for the 2025/2026 academic session, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • JAMB UTME: Minimum score of 180 in the 2025 JAMB UTME with Nursing Sciences selected as the preferred course.
  • O’Level Results: Five credit passes in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in not more than two sittings. (Note: NABTEB cannot be combined with other results.)
  • Additional Documents: FSLC, Certificate of Origin, Birth Certificate, and Change of Name (if applicable).
  • Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.
  • Campus Selection: Candidates must choose one of the AKSCONS campuses (Anua, Eket, Ikot Ekpene, Ituk Mbang, or Oron) in their JAMB application.
  • Unique Application: Each applicant may only apply once. Duplicate applications will result in disqualification.
